This paper estimates the economic burden of motorcycle accidents in the Bolgatanga Municipality in Northern Ghana. Motorcycles are the most popular means of transportation in northern Ghana, and their accidents are major causes of out-patient attendance and admissions in the Bolgatanga Municipality.
